My black Bianchi Volpe with green lettering was stolen today from the corner of SW Morrison and SW 18th Ave. It has cyclocross hyrbid road/montain tires (allterrainasaurus i think), Mavic rims, standard pedals with no toe-clips, Shimano Tiagra hardware with brake shifters, drop bars and grip tape that has been stretched so it no longer fits snugly. There is a broken tooth on the largest front gear, a silver bottle cage, and a topeak pump that was attached with a plastic ring to the top tube. Also, there are no end-plugs in the drop bars. I was in the building for only about half an hour! I used a chain lock about 1/8" thick, which the thief cut clean with a bolt cutter. I know because I found a broken link on the ground. This was a real eye-opener for me. I really should have bought a U-lock for this $1000 bike. My friend told me one lock is never enough, and I should have listened to him. Please contact me if you have any information about my bike. It means the world to me and I loved it. I would be eternally grateful to you.The bike is the one on the right closest to the wall.
