- Description of incident
-
At approximately noon on September 28, we took the elevator down to the garage to leave. Upon exiting the elevator, I immediately noticed that my two bicycles were missing and the lock securing them had been cut. The straps on the bike rack that held the bicycles in place had also been ripped out. The last time we saw the bicycles still secured to the bike rack on the car was at approximately 11:00 a.m. on September 27. Sometime between 11:00 a.m. on September 27 and noon on September 28, most likely in the middle of the night, the bicycles were stolen. The two bicycles stolen were a 2022 Trek Fuel EX 8 full-suspension mountain bike, size Medium, 29-inch wheels, red-to-black fade, and a vintage Cannondale Black Lightning road bike. The Cannondale was black, 12-speed, with drop handlebars wrapped in pink handlebar tape. We did not see the theft occur; however, there are video surveillance cameras in the garage that may have captured the theft or the individuals involved.
