Stolen Reported stolen DYU C7 Lite 26''

I last saw my e-bike at approximately 8:00 PM on September 13, 2026, when I parked and secured it near the rear entrance on the first floor of my apartment building, next to the bike rack area. The bicycle was locked with a U-lock securing the frame and rear wheel, and an additional cable lock securing the bicycle to the fence. At that time, the rear common entrance door of the apartment building was malfunctioning and remained open. Because the bicycle was still located on private apartment property and was secured with two locks, I believed it would be safe to leave it there overnight. At approximately 10:00 AM on September 14, 2026, I returned to retrieve the bicycle and found that it was completely missing. The U-lock and cable lock were also gone, and there were no obvious broken lock pieces or other debris left at the scene. Other bicycles parked in the same area were still present, and only my e-bike appeared to have been taken. I contacted apartment management, and they confirmed that management and maintenance did not remove or relocate the bicycle. Management advised me to file a police report and stated that they can assist law enforcement with any available security footage according to property procedures. The bicycle is registered with NC State University under permit number BK5488, and the permit sticker is attached to the side of the main frame. I have the bicycle serial number, photographs, purchase information, and other identifying information available.
