- Description of incident

On September 4, 2026, at approximately 11:40 p.m., I left my electric bicycle in its usual location at my residence, located at 302 W. Montecito Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101. The bicycle was placed behind our unit, in front of a neighboring unit, within the private-property parking and residential area behind the apartment complex. It was tucked away from the main street and normal public view. The bicycle was last confirmed present at approximately 11:40 p.m. On September 5, 2026, at approximately 11:00 a.m., my roommate entered the rear area and noticed that the bicycle was gone, but initially assumed that I had taken it to work. I later returned from work and discovered that it was missing. Therefore, I believe the bicycle was taken sometime between 11:40 p.m. on September 4 and 11:00 a.m. on September 5. The stolen bicycle is an all-black TST R09 electric bicycle with a moped-style frame, fat tires, a long black seat, and a round front headlight. Its most distinctive identifying feature is the name “Eitan,” which is embroidered on the rear portion of the seat. The bicycle was not locked at the time it was taken. I did not give anyone permission to borrow, move, or take it, and I do not currently know the identity of the person responsible
