Stolen Reported stolen 2024 Decathlon Triban RC 520

My bicycle was stolen from the secured bicycle storage area of my residential building at Artix (400 Queen Anne North) in Seattle. The last I saw the bicycle in the bike storage on Tuesday evening 8/11. On Sunday 8/16 at approximately 5:30 pm, I discovered that the bicycle was missing. The bicycle storage is located inside the building, in the bike storage area and is access-controlled and not generally accessible to the public. The bicycle was secured with a bike lock. The chain was cut by the thief and was found lying on the floor next to where the bicycle had been stored. The building has CCTV/security cameras covering the property and (!) bike storage area. Building management do have video footage and happy to provide it to the police. I have proof of purchase and photographs of the bicycle and can provide them if needed. This incident has been very upsetting to me. This bicycle was important to me personally, and it is particularly distressing knowing that someone deliberately entered a secured area of my home and cut the lock to steal it. I sincerely hope the available security footage and access records can help identify the person responsible and that they can be held accountable!
