Stolen Reported stolen 2020 Trek Allant+ 7S

Stolen from my assigned parking space inside the secured residential parking garage of my apartment building in San Diego, CA, between approximately 9:30 AM and 11:30 AM on Friday, August 14, 2026. The garage is normally secured by an automatic roll-up door. That morning the door failed and was stuck in the open position. Property management emailed residents at 10:45 AM stating the door was not rolling down properly and would be repaired by end of day, and confirmed at 2:35 PM that it had been repaired. The garage was still standing open when I returned at 11:30 AM and found the bike gone. The bike was not locked — it was parked in my assigned space inside the garage. My helmet was left behind on the garage floor. At least one neighbor also had a scooter taken from their space during the same window, with their helmet likewise left on the floor. Other units in the building may also have been hit. 2020 Trek Allant+ 7S, blue (Nautical Navy), Bosch mid-drive pedal-assist, purchased new 6/11/2020 from Foothill Cyclery in San Luis Obispo, CA and registered to me with Trek. Accessories fitted when stolen (may have been removed since): cup/drink holder mount, front spotlight, and one or two pannier bags. No known suspects; theft was not witnessed. The garage has security cameras and footage preservation has been requested. Reported to San Diego Police Department, tracking number T26020447.
