At 1630, the e-bike and helmet were locked up with the ABUS bike to the public bike rack provided on the corner of Adams Ave. & 34th St. At 2010, it was discovered the e-bike was no longer there. The e-bike has an AirTag placed inside the frame and was used to follow the e-bike to an alley behind 34th St. From there, 911 was called (non-emergency line was not going through) and the dispatcher was notified of a second location the AirTag was pinging to. When arriving at the second location (3605 33rd st), it pinged to a third location (3577 Nile St.) where two officers arrived and kindly asked the homeowners to see if the e-bike was inside their garage to which it was not.
