stolen 2023 Trek Domane SL5

I finished my last ride at 5:48 pm on Friday, June 5, and locked my bike in the bike storage room in my apartment building, the Fitzroy, parking garage. It is a cinder block room only accessible by key fob. The garage door was left open for long periods of time for several days until it was fixed on June 9. My bike was locked to a metal bike rack shaped like an upside-down U, which is bolted into the concrete floor. It was locked, with my helmet, via U-lock and cable on the front wheel + body, and folding lock on the back wheel. It was registered with Arlington County PD shortly after purchase, on May 28, 2025, and had the sticker on it. I was out of the country from June 13-20 and the building management knew this, and that I had a house sitter. I discovered my bike missing from the bike room, along with the helmet and locks and all accessories, on Friday, June 26 just after 7:00 pm. Interestingly, the cameras in the bike room appear to have been spray painted black at some point; I have not identified other cameras throughout the building with the same paint job. While I was gone, the keys for both locks were kept in my apartment. This is not the first bike stolen from this bike room, but the other one I am aware of was unlocked and unregistered, whereas mine was. Does not seem like a crime of opportunity.
