Description of incident
My new bike which is a Boardman Women’s HYB8.6 has been stolen from my property at the address Flat 3, The Gables, 12-14 Waldeck Road, Ealing W138LY between the dates and times: Saturday 8th November 2025, 8pm - Tuesday 11th November, 10am. The bike was locked up with a Halfords advanced D lock to a masonry wall-mounted anchor point behind our gate which leads into the car park at the back of the property alongside the other bikes. I can provide photos of the bike itself and it locked up on the mount. The serial number is: AA250401696 It is a purple bike, make/model Boardman Women’s HYB8.6 with Boardman written in white letters on the frame. It has a bottle holder attached to the frame. The cost of the bike was £480.00. I can also provide photos of the paperwork from when the bike was purchased. We have reported the bike as stolen on Bike Registry with the above details stated. The entry gate at our property is fob-operated and also programmed to automatically open on Wednesday mornings for the bin collection. From my understanding the gate is not auto activated at any other time and from the time that the bike has been stolen, the gate should not have been open for a prolonged period of time. This may mean someone has either tail-gated coming in through the back gate to the car park or gained entry via the communal flat entry door to gain access to the back garden/carpark. Nothing has been left at the scene, no tools or other equipment. The bike lock has also vanished. No other damage seems to have been made to other bikes on the adjacent racks.
