Description of incident: Bicycle was attached to bicycle parking rack on sidewalk in front of Suehiro Cafe (371 E 1st Street). Hooded masked figure (depicted in video shot by bystander who sent video to me shortly afterward) removes portable angle grinder from checkered backpack (contents also contained a crowbar) and removes lock in roughly 10 seconds. Bicycle is removed from lock and suspect walks off with the bike going east; witness states no other recollection of suspect. East happens to be the direction towards the newly established train station.

Brake: Front brake: Hope RX4+ four-piston hydraulic caliper. Color is black gloss anodized aluminum. Mounting variant is for FLAT MOUNT FRONT -- this caliper mounts directly onto the fork with no shims/adapters. RX4+ (Hope)

Handlebar: "Compact drop" as opposed to traditional. White painted stripes on black anodized aluminum contrast. Handlebar tape (which may be removed by now) is bright highlighter-ORANGE Fizik Vento Solocush 2.7mm bar tape, the tape has been cut down to just barely clear the last bend.
