I came out on June 18th to ride my bike, which had been kept under a tarp with two other bikes (my kids'), and found it gone. The tarp had been replaced exactly as it was prior to the bike being stolen. About two weeks earlier, I spoke with a man who was climbing over the fence between my back yard and the next-door bar at about 1 or 2 a.m. with a duffel bag containing heavy items. I offered to let him out the front door and he refused. Told me he worked at Bake Sale Betty's in Oakland and I should come in for a cup of coffee! Said he was trying to get away from a "crazy girl."
