Description of incident

My bike was locked to the bike rack on the corner of 200 E and 200 S on the east side of the CUAC building (or Stratford 2nd & 2nd, just east of Beer Bar and Bar X). I went to move it around 11pm but decided to leave it where it was locked and walked over to meet some friends. When I came back around 12:00am it was gone, so it happened sometime between 11pm and 12am. It also was locked with a U lock. The bike is a custom design so although I don't have the serial number it's not a common bike. The body is a gold/champaign color and the chain is a yellow (like a sun yellow) and the bike has a brown seat. The handle bars are straight and the grips are white and they are rubber and spell the words "built by us and you" on them in the rubber. There is a thicker interior rim that is white and the tires are white and black. It's a single speed (but can be flipped to a fixed gear) with lever brakes on the handle bars. I do have a stock photo of the bike from when I designed and I’m looking for another more recent one. The bike looks just like the photo with the exception of the chain which in the photo is black but my bike chain is yellow, the gold color of the frame is a bit lighter/more muted than it appears in the photo. The police report number is: 2016-802852. This bike was currently my only form of transportation. Thieves are the WORST. Anything you can do to help spread the word and find it would be greatly appreciated!

Wheels

  • Wheel Bike rim is a thicker white. Tires are black with a white stripe
