We have kept two bikes locked and chained together and to a closed-loop pipe in our carport for the 2 months that we've lived here. They were locked together with two OnGuard U-locks with braided metal cords looping and locking everything together. Early AM June 30 someone came with bolt cutters (at the very least) and absconded with our bikes. The U-locks themselves were looped through both wheel and frame, so I don't think they'd have been able to ride them away.
