My partner and I heard a noise and saw a man hanging from the balcony, grab my bike and toss it behind him to the ground, then biked off with it onto Virginia and 7th, going toward N 7th. Downtown San Jose near SJSU. Bike thief seen riding off with it on Virginia and 7th going north. He left a lot of weird magenta ink/paint all over the balcony rails and the balcony below us. 5ft7ish, black hair, tan skin, normal build.
