Staying at the Wine Country Inn in Palisades CO, for one night - checked in, felt the location was secure, and decided to leave my beautiful Chumba VF2 26" Trailbike unlocked on the tail-gait mat of my truck. BIG MISTAKE! I really should have walked it up to the room that night, because the next morning it was gone. Also stolen was another guest's Scott MTB, Black with 26" wheels. In his case, the thieves cut a cable that was securing his bike to a hitch mount rack.
