The bike noted was my best friend. I had it at my home in a place not visible from the street. I noted it gone when I went to take it for a ride after coming home from work. The bike was hidden behind my house out of view and I live in a rural area so it may have been taken by someone who had been on the property or came on my property when they saw my vehicle gone. I do have the original sales papers I believe still on file and will be looking for same. I bought 2 matching models of this bike, one for my Brother and one for myself when we finished remodeling my home. I bought these Sekai road/off-road bikes from a local bike shop over 20 years ago, and the bike was in great shape with newer tires and bearings on the main crank. Has aluminum rack on the back, tool pouch at joint in frame beneath the seat, wide black/faded comfort seat and upswept not flat chrome handle bars and is a 15/20 speed. I do have the serial #'s off my brothers bike =Y3f3007 (underneath crank housing) and mine should/could be just a digit or two off. I am looking for my paperwork which I believe I still have which may have my exact numbers noted in the paperwork. I Did file a theft report with the Sonoma County Sheriffs office .
I will know this bike on site anywhere. Sekai is no longer made and is collectable. The tires are 26" inch and frame a deeper metallic blue with the Sekai name on head badge and on frame.
