Description of incident

My 2004 Trek 4300 bike was on my second floor balcony where I have been storing it for several years when not in use. Today I returned home to find that someone had climbed up on to my balcony and taken the bike off as well as a wheeled folding grocery cart that was beside the bike. The grocery cart was dropped and left lying beside the building below my balcony. Nothing else on the balcony was disturbed, and my patio door shows no signs of tampering. I am unsure as to the exact time or date of the theft as we have not been out on the balcony due to inclement weather recently and we only noticed that it was missing today.
