Distinguishing features
Since I bought this bike, I made many changes to it. The frame is virtually the only original component. The original single wall wheels have been replaced with double wall wheels. The original OTR tires have been replaced with narrower Kevlar tires. The black straight handlebar has brake levers underneath and chrome extenders at each end. The two brake units on the handlebar are completely different from each other, because one had to be replaced. Probably the most distinguishing feature of this bike (in addition to all the customization) is the name "Lakota" painted prominently on the downtube. I have never seen or heard of another Lakota bike.

Description of incident
Secured to lampost in heavily trafficed (cars and pedestrians) area in front of Dosa Factory in Central Square, Cambridge MA. After 5-10 minutes inside a nearby store, I returned to find the bike missing. I reported it to two bicycle cops immediately acrosss the street. They said they would file a police report. When I checked two days later, I found that no report had been filed. I gave the police department my personal description of the incident and they turned that into a police report - word for word.
