Bike stolen from ( neighborhood name) Cobblestone, grocery store Publix, where
Normally park as shop and use wi- fi. Had earlier been forced to leave my seat on store bench as had been approached by two gruff males, neither of whom had ever seen in area before- but it is wintertime and this is war and sunny compared to ref of nation- Florida. I had moved to another nearby bench- bike parked unlocked as usual as my bar lock won't fit round the column and I avoid using bike racks when're possible. Had
my original seat( which was in clear view of bike) to the other, to work on my tablet for several hours- until nine pm. And when went to retrieve my bicycle it was gone.
The pic of it is the only one( dumb! )'I had, and was when I had been repairing it. When it was stolen- tonight February 3rd- it had its wheels on.
Paint is a me pink color- a little worn but no major scratches- new tires, rims original but still only modicum specs of rust- overall rims still shiny and it had a gray- silver pack/ bag- held to hamdlebars ( straight handlebars) as bag straps wrapped around them. Bag contained bike repair tools- wrenches, tire tools, flat repair and some clothing. I am honest, healthy, very able but also currently without a job, a, seeking work. My. Ike IS my only source for transit. So, in addition to its use for seeking and developing work, I, as a single individual, without any friends yet in this area- or family near- have no other means of transit except walking, and this is a city of mostly highway connections.
Thank you for your concern and help- and God Bless you also as you bicycle and/ or are seeking your lost mount. V Smith USA
