Lock type was cable, but when trying to lock the bike to the bike rack the key broke in the lock, went into dorm to get extra key when came back out bike was gone. Most likely someone observed this and saw opportunity to take bike. Incident reported to RIT Campus Security, will add Police report # when I get a copy.
