Distinguishing features
Petunia is a little banged up, we just had come from the bike shop before we locked her. She has a loose rear rack, the screw fell out of one side. She also has a seriously untrue back wheel, rear brake problems, tires need air, and the seat has a few places where the foam shows under the black surface. So we were going to get some work done for her.

Description of incident
I thought I had securely locked the Marin (her name is Petunia even though she's a boy's bike) to a post outside the library. Either I made an locking error, or someone cut the cable while I was inside for an hour between 3 and 4 pm. I am heartbroken for my darling Petunia, I check on her hourly even when she is locked, which is why I found out within the hour she was gone. I will be adding the serial number when I find it. Also, the manufacture year is estimated, I believe she is early 2000s.
