Me and my wife parked both of our bikes to a bike rack(locked with a cable bike lock) in front of the Adidas store (in SFO Westfield mall) at around 4 pm on August 17th 2019. We returned to our bike rack aer shopping at around 6pm(on same day) and saw that one of our bike was stolen by cutting the bike cable lock. My wife bike and two helmets are still there. The stolen bike was a BMC Team Machine ALR01 road bike (54cm Red color). The Bike costs around $1000 and i have the original receipt of the bike purchase and the photos of the bike. I filed a report with Westfield Mall security team. There was a security camera right in front of the bike rack and can be used to easily find the thief of the bike. The security team said they will only review the camera footage only with SFPD.
