Bike was locked to a wooden tree stake using a Kryptonite U-lock on the sidewalk in front of 565 Columbus Ave. Boston, MA 02118 at about 7:30pm on Friday July 5th, 2019. At the top of the tree stake, a black string had secured the tree stake to the adjacent tree trunk. When I went out to move my bike indoors at 2:00am on Saturday July 6th, the bike was no longer there and black string connecting the top of the stake and the adjacent tree trunk had been cut. Presumably, the bike had been lifted over the top of the stake with the U-lock attached. There is an indentation on the wooden stake where my U-lock had been attached.
