stolen 1989 Peugeot Cross Country

Hybrid cross-bike. 54cm Black Chromoly (Chromium-Molybdenum Steel Alloy) Frame with "Peugeot" and "X-Country" lettering. Turquoise, Yellow and Pink Striping on lower frame. Biopace Eliptical crank. SN 9K77601. Rams-horm racing-style handlebars with black cork tape and white racing grips with some hand-grime on them. "Zoom" telescopic handlebar stem (brushed steel), fully extended, so the handlebars are raised about 5" higher than normal. Shimano SIS Thumb shifters at center of handlebar. Cat-Eye HL-EL135 LED Headlamp between thumb shifters. Center-pull caliper brakes with Dual position brake levers - charcoal levers across front of bar and silver levers at the curve of the horn below racing grips. Handle-bar is mounted at an atypical angle - slanted upward and forward about 30-degrees from the normal position. Hybrid wheels (silver, well kept) and hybrid tires - 700cm diameter but only 1-1.25" W - not as slender as on a racing cycle, but much more slender than a mountain bike. Decently new tread on front, couple years on back. Blackburn water bottle cage (black). Ladies gell saddle with open center for ventilation (black nylon cover with a nick on the left rear corner, exposing the green gel core). Very clean and well maintained, recently lubed, very little dust or road grime except on the handlebar tape, racing grips, and perhaps some scuffs where the heavy security cable wraps around the seat post and frame.
