The bike maintains the original frame, but I recently upgraded the components to Shimano 105-level 11 speed with integrated hydraulic disc brakes (RS-505). I also replaced the wheels with Mavic Ksyrium disc brake wheels and upgraded the tires to 30mm wide Continentals.

I parked my bike on campus at a bike rack near my office at UC San Diego at approximately 9:00 AM, and when I went to leave for the day at 5:30 PM I found my bike was stolen and that the thieves left the cut U-bolt and my helmet.
