Photo #1 of thief cutting lock: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ypapo6tcvjpqgho/2018-08-02%2014.38.51.png?dl=0 Photo #2 side of thief's maroon Ford Explorer vehicle: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vofs2ezgzg45yus/2018-08-02%2014.34.39.png?dl=0 Video of the theft: https://www.dropbox.com/s/r15qbktfzjktk70/2018-07-30%2017.36.03.mp4?dl=0 (10.5MB large) Caught on video camera: Corner of Stockholm Street and Evergreen Avenue, a maroon Ford Explorer SUV pulled up alongside the bicycle, and thief #1 opened the passenger side door. Thief #1 cut Kryptonite U-lock with bolt cutter-like tool within 2 minutes. Thief #1 then rode off with bicycle the wrong direction, southwest onto Evergreen Avenue. Thief #1 waved to the vehicle, gesturing for driver -- thief #2 -- to proceed southwest. Presumably, this means that the thief went to a storage area, bike shop, or flea market southwest of 259 Evergreen Avenue. Thief #2 was the driver, who rode off down Stockholm Street. Based on video, thieves' vehicle seems to be a maroon Ford Explorer SUV, probably 1999 or 2000 model year, "Eddie Bauer" edition.
