stolen 2016 Cannondale Bad Boy 2

On 13 October 2017, between 1620 and 1720 my Cannondale Bad Boy 2 bicycle was stolen. The bicycle was locked to a fence post on with a cable lock on the property of Monterey Bay Kayaks. The bike was seen shortly after 1600 by staff. While getting changed from my kayaking, someone cut the cable with some type of heavy duty cutter. The lock remained on the post. The staff said they had turned off their security cameras and there was no footage of their property. They were at a lost. The odd thing was they were pulling in kayaks and were passing by the bicycle off and on. The bicycle was on the western side of the building about six feet from the Monterey Bay Coastal Recreational Trail during daylight hours. It is well traveled and I am at a lost on how a stranger could have stood on the property and had time to cut the lock without someone noticing.
