Distinguishing features
The bike has the shoulder strap between the top tube and seat tube. Even though the bike is orange colored now, if you lift the velcro from the top tube section of the strap you will see that it was red.
The bike was registered with the Ann Arbor police, so the base of the seat tube has a white Ann Arbor registration decal.
There is a bike computer (old velo computer) and the black electric leads have a white shrink tube repair next to the head tube on the way down to the fork.
The rear brake is a U brake on the chain stay - retro yet bad design.
The derailleur hanger assembly is rusted due to a welding repair on that area of the frame that was not repainted.
The bike rack on the back is a Blackburn powder coat black rack and the struts on the left side are severely worn in a couple spots where a single pannier has rubbed against it over the years. The rear of the rack has a mounting bracket that is a motley collection of metal strapping, screws and bolts.
