Distinguishing features

Old 1992 GIANT ATX 760 mountain bike frame re-purposed & built into an all conditions touring bicycle. Frame color is black w/ stock white marbled finish on head tube & rear dropouts, all stock decals painted over w/ black rattle can. 3rd set of bottle cage mounts w/ SCHWINN-style "star" reinforcements added by me on underside of down tube. Custom front derailleur cable pulley boss w/ "star" reinforcement added by me to back side of seat tube a few inches above BB. DISC BRAKE MOUNT & BRACE added to rear dropout! SURLY 1x1 disc or rim brake fork (no logos) in black w/ mid-blade rack mounts w/ "star” re-enforcements added by me- this makes this fork very unique! Uses 26" wheels. Seat tube (center to top) = 23". Top tube (center to center) = 23.25". Components: CHRIS KING NoThreadSet 1-1/8" in black. KALLOY seat post that has been custom knurled where it clamps in frame. BROOKS B17 Special "honey" leather saddle w/ copper rivets, chrome rails. DIMENSION threadless steerer tube extension in black. DIMENSION high rise aluminum stem 25.4mm clamp in black. ON-ONE Midge dirt drop handlebars in black wrapped in desert camo brownish orange rust color tape. CANE CREEK long pull road levers in all black. KELLY Take-Off auxiliary shifter mounts in silver wrapped in VELOX rim tape holding SHIMANO 3x8 bar end road shifters. SHIMANO 105 Octalink triple crankset, 175mm in black. XTR rear, Ultegra front derailleurs. TRP Spyke mechanical front disc brake w/ 180mm rotor. TRP Spyke 160mm rotor mechanical disc brake on rear. Rear wheel is 40 spoke DT / HUGI hub (black) laced to MAVIC D521 wide rim (gray) w/ black DT 2.0 spokes. Front wheel is 36 spoke SHIMANO XT dynamo hub (black) laced to SUN RINGLÉ Rhyno Lite XL RIM (black) w/ silver spokes & brass washers under the spoke heads. Tires (at time of writing) are BONTRAGER Comfort semi-smooth tread 26x1.95" in all black, but soon to be SCHWALBE Marathon Supreme tires in 26 x 2.0”. Black cable housing throughout. Accessories: JANDD handlebar bag (gray) w/ quick release bracket on stem. Three ELITE CIUSSE(?) stainless bottle cages. CATEYE cyclometer mounted on stem via a Knob. SURLY Nice Rack chromoly in black w/ white reflective tape on fork, JANDD XL rear rack aluminum in black on rear w/ CATEYE flasher taillight & red reflective tape.
