My husband and I left our two bikes locked to the bike rack on the back of our car (a trunk bike rack). My bike was racked on the outer portion of the rack, and was the only one locked to the rack (with the cable lock). My husband's bike was racked on the inner portion of the rack. We came back about 30-45 minutes later and my bike was gone. The cable lock had been cut. My husband's bike was still there (used black Cannondale road bike but with all of the same upgrades as were on my bike), and the rubber straps securing it had been undone. But the thief decided to leave it, for some reason.
