stolen Specialized Turbo Vado

I am reporting the theft of my e-bike from my apartment residence. My wife and I were out of town from the evening of Wednesday, June 10, 2026 through Monday, June 15, 2026. Prior to leaving for the airport on the night of June 10, I confirmed that my e-bike was on our private second floor balcony at our apartment. While we were away, on Friday, June 12, 2026, we checked our indoor pet camera and noticed that the e-bike was no longer visible on our balcony . Based on this, we believe the theft occurred sometime between Wednesday night, June 10 and Friday, June 12. The stolen bike is a black Specialized T urbo Vado e-bike with an estimated value of approximately $4,000. We live in a small apartment building with 4 total units. Our apartment is Unit 2 located on the second floor. The bike was stored on our private balcony attached to our second-floor unit. After returning home, we noticed what appeared to be a step stool or small desk positioned near the first-floor area directly below/near our balcony . Based on its placement, we suspect it may have been used by the individual(s) involved to climb up to our second-floor balcony in order to access and steal the bike. No one was given permission to access our balcony or remove the bike. At this time, we do not know who took the bike and there are no known suspects. I am filing this report to document the theft and assist in any possible investigation or recovery of the stolen property .
