I found a black Avalanche mountain bike behind by my vacant house that's for sale. Not my bike. It shouldn't have been there. I want to help the owner recover this expensive bike. I don't know where it was stolen from. I took a picture of the QR Code sticker and the number on it, and of the number stamped next to it. I brought the bicycle to the North Portland Community Policing office, and left it there with a supervisor. He didn't ask for any information from me, so there's no report to reference, and I have no idea what happens to the bike next.
