stolen 2017 Schwinn Trailway

Bike was stolen from my porch- it was a hand me down but I still feel really sad about the bike being stolen. I found a Facebook Marketplace posting on it just days after my bike was stolen but it has a different handlebar and seat, but the rear gear wire is sticking out exactly the same like mine was... I am not assuming the posting is fraudulent for now, I am just saying it has to be more than coincidence.. I contacted the seller and asked about how long they've used the bike and they only state that they've ridden it a few times, but if thats the case, why did they feel the need to swap out the bike seat and the handlebar?
