Theft Description: As of 5:00PM on Friday, February 20th, my Wombi bike was secured to a railing in my locked apartment garage. The bike was secured using the provided chain. The bike was parked near tenant's designated parking spot in a shared apartment garage located at 108 S Croft Avenue, 90048. Around 9:00AM on Saturday, February 21st, the bike, lock, panniers, etc. were no longer in the garage. I went around to my neighbors as folks had been moving in-and-out of the building recently and one unit is for sale. No one had seen it, but I had been referred to a neighbor who had a ring camera in the garage, but unfortunately, the ring camera was not active until mid-morning on Saturday and not in view of the bike, and thus the theft was not recorded. I contacted Wombi on Monday, Feb 23 to evaluate next steps and was told to file a police report, which needed to be done in-person, so I went to the station on Wilshire around 12:00PM on Tuesday, Feb 24. All provided information (Serial number, model type, etc) was included in the police report as instructed. Please see attached report and contact me with any questions!
