This is my son's bike, which we bought as a Christmas gift. Only recently, he'd finally fallen in love with bicycling, and often rode with the 1Up group, which marveled at his progress in popping wheelies. He's heartbroken.

We noticed an abandoned bicycle in front of our house on Wednesday, Jan. 21, but didn't think much of it because our neighbor has been arrested multiple times for bicycle theft. But then we went outside Thursday, Jan. 22 (today) and noticed our son's unlocked bike had been stolen. All of our other bikes, one locked, were left alone.
