On November 15th, 2025, my Trek Dual Sport Large Red bike was stolen from the secure bike storage room in my apartment building, along with other residents' bikes. Shortly after, I discovered a Facebook Marketplace listing of what appeared to be my stolen bike. One of the personally identifying details in the photo of the Marketplace listing was the same exact black kickstand that was custom installed for me. The bike was ultimately sold to someone on Marketplace.
