On September 6th, 2025, I discovered my Canyon Endurace 8 Disc bicycle was stolen from the secured bike storage
room on the third floor of my apartment building, AMLI Waterfront at 50 University Street, where I reside. I last saw
and secured my bike on July 15th, 2025, using a FoldyLock Compact, a heavy-duty lock made of hardened steel. The
theft occurred in a bike room that requires electronic fob access for entry and has a security camera positioned
directly at the entrance. The thief cut through my FoldyLock to steal the bike, leaving the severed lock behind. This
bike room is advertised and maintained by AMLI management as a secure facility. Only residents with authorized key
fobs should have access. As a 6-year resident, I've never experienced any security issues until now. The extended
timeframe between July 15th and September 6th when I discovered the theft means the bike could have been stolen
anytime during this period.
