We were at Eau Claire and left our bikes locked near the entry to the Eau Claire gym. We went to the patio at the Sheraton where we sat with a partial view of the bikes. Sometime between locking the bikes and being seated, the lock was cut. There was a suspicious man there with wrap around sunglasses and a buzz cut.
