Garage door was broken: steel linkage arms of tilt door badly bent, automatic garage door opener broken beyond repair. Airtag on bike pinged from the patio/entrance area of 145 Ortega Ave Mountain View CA at 9:08am in the hours immediately following the theft on May 15, 2025. Airtag pinged again at 9:47 from the garage in front of that unit on May 15, then pinged again around noon at the parking area across the street, where the airtag was later found, removed from the bike. Police looked in patio/entrance area on the following day, May 16, and peered through the garage window, but did not see the bike in plain sight, and is far as I know, did not speak with any residents of this townhouse or any neighbors.
