Bike was sitting in the garage, on a gated street far up a wooded road. My suspicion is that someone who had cause to visit the house (pool guy, UPS, etc) spotted the bike one day and came back for it when no one was home (though I have no formal proof of this--only circumstantial conjecture). In any case, the theft was not noticed until 7/5/13, at which time I began gathering data to file a police report.
