Description of incident
I left my 2006 Trek 3700 bike - blue and silver in color, serial number C94DK993, Bike Index number TBI-0406 - locked to a steel railing with 2 combination U-locks (one locking the back wheel to the bike frame, one locking the frame to the steel railing) at the Colfax RTD station at about 10:00am today, Saturday, March 22nd, 2025. I returned to the Colfax RTD station at about 3:00pm today to find that both the bike and the U-lock that locked the back wheel to the bike frame had been stolen. The U-lock that had locked the frame to the steel railing was abandoned, still attached to the steel railing; the correct combination had not been used to unlock it. I unlocked the abandoned U-lock using the correct combination and took it to work with me.
