This was originally a mountain bike which I converted to electric by installing a rear wheel with 1000 W hub motor (black). The battery and controller are mounted with clamps externally, all wiring is mounted externally. This is a custom installation. The frame is about 24 years old, the conversion was done 2021.

Bike was parked alongside of a road about 1/4 mile outside town, locked to a fence. I went for a walk, about 1.5 h, when I returned the bike was gone. There is little traffic on the road and no other pedestrians.
