My bike was stolen from a garage of an apartment complex. The garage has a door but it had been malfunctioning and left open for a few days - anyone could walk in. The bike was locked with a U-lock to an indoor bike stand. The lock was cut. The thief left behind the cut lock, the seat cover, and the helmet that was also locked to the bike.
