Classic terrain cycle from DBS (Den Beste Sykkel), frame was produced in Norway (last Norwegian produced DBS frame was manufactured in 1998). These have a reputation for being "indestructible". Bought it from original owner in 2024.
The frame is the Monostay variant which has an elevated chainstay to prevent chainsuck. It also has the benefit that the frame can relatively easily be converted to a belt drive.
A practical bike with character and charm. Heard rumours that most Kilimanjaro's were not Monostay's, and that the elevated chainstay resulted in a less stiff frame.
