Stolen Schwinn Tandem. Custom Schwinn Tandem stolen from Willow Glen backyard shed around 1:20 PM, Monday, August 25 2024. I was out of town at the time. At approximately 1:10 my neighbor noticed a suspicious person hanging around my front hard and using my garden hose. My neighbor asked what he was doing and he said "looking for recyclable metal." My neighbor CALLED THE POLICE and a POLICEMAN DID ARRIVE. There should be bodycam footage of the Officer talking with the person of interest, if the body cam was on. Regardless, the Officer spoke to the person of interest directly and should recall details. The policeman questioned the person of interest briefly and told him to "be on his way." The person of interest was seen a few minutes later leaving the area (riding on Hazelwood towards Lincoln) on MY TANDEM. As far as I can tell, nothing else was stolen from the shed. REWARD for RECOVERY. If you see it, please help it return home.
