Distinguishing features
Long shot here, but it's a fairly distinctive bike, so here goes.I left my red and black fade Trek Elance 400T inside my office building on Woodlawn in Hyde Park, at the University of Chicago. I haven't been back in a long time, and I've heard that my steed has ridden off without me. It's a bike I really like and I always relished coming back to Chicago to ride it. If you have any information on it, I'd really appreciate it.It has / had a few distinctive features:60 - 62 cmLocking wheels -- wheels (Maillard hubs, matrix rims) were affixed with locking skewersMoustache barsReelight magnetic lights front and backSalsa shaft seatpostShimano 105 crank, big ring (48t?)Some fat tires on there, size mis-matched (bigger in back)Specialized y-shaped seatCrank Brothers red candy pedalsRed LED lights in the bar endsAnyway, if you think you've seen it around, I'd really appreciate knowing. I can verify ownership.
