On April 11, between 2 and 4 PM, I locked my MEC folding bike to a lamp post on the pedestrian sidewalk right next to the Peace Bridge, just after the traffic lights at 9 St NW. That section of the Bow River Pathway is currently under construction. I used a U-lock to secure the bike by the rear rack. Then I went fishing under the bridge. When I came back two hours later, the bike was gone but the lock was still there, still attached to the lamp post. This same bike was stolen once before, in April 2024.
