Description of incident
Theif came in attempting to purchase a charger for a Fuel EXe that he stole from La Mesa Yesterday, which I verified with Ivan Diarte. When we told him he would have to order the charger he did not want to order it and said he would order it online. I noticed his front tire needed to be aired up so I put the bike in the stand and started diagnosing the bike. I attempted to set up a profile for him and he would not give me an ID to set up the profile and gave me the name Eric Lopez, giving a phone # 760-240-6067 and then another # 760-670-2460, I've made a note on the profile. After he denied leaving the bike, he left the building. Then about an hour later we noticed him back in the store looking at bikes while he left the brand-new EXe outside. One of our Service Advisors was coming back from lunch and recommended he bring the bike inside. He went outside, brought the bike inside and placed it by the front door with the door open, then went back to looking at new bikes. A moment later we notice him trying to ride in the store and as everyone asked him to not ride in the store, he rode out the door and away.
