My daughter just got this bike for her 10th birthday and her friend used and brought it back to the side of our house. So the bike wasn't locked up. When my daughter went out this morning, the bike was gone. The bike is kept by the side of our house [Autumn Woods housing area in Piney Orchard, Odenton, MD] as we don't have a garage or room to store inside. There isn't really much of a place to lock it up either, but we've been here 5 years without an incident. We had just gotten a lock, but my daughter only uses it when riding to school. My daughter saw a white teen [tall with blond hair] and a black teen [with a short mohawk] on Friday looking around at the neighborhood kids' bikes but didn't mention it to anyone until after her bike disappeared. So those teens may or may not be involved. We walked the neighborhood and local wood paths without finding it. However, one subdivision over, we found out some other bikes have also gone missing. We will be reporting the bike stolen to the police tomorrow once that officer is back on duty. The bike is blue with white seat and handles. There is a white bucket with circular holes on the front handle bars. There is a kickstand and the Kryptoflex lock was missing whole from the spot the bike was parked.
