stolen 1998 Schwinn Mesa

WHAT: A 1998 19” Schwinn Mesa GSX (Red, Black and Gray) with STX Aliv Shifters with optics, a bike pump, mirror, horn & bar ends without plugs. The tires were Gatorskins. The serial number on the bike is one of the following numbers: M7LI72290 or M7LI714252. I am unable to narrow the SN down but have a method to determine theft.WHERE: Stolen 1 mile from downtown Hillsboro near Glenco High School & McKinney Elementary schools. WHEN: It was removed from a locked bike rack (now damaged too) during the late evening hours on 9/16/2012 or early morning of 9/17/2012.CONTACT: The owner is an active 80 year old veteran. George is on a fixed Income and this bike means a lot to him as it was used often and given to him by his daughter. The bike helps him stay active and helps to relieve arthritic stiffness.
